Rebecca O’Malley is a Brooklyn-based art historian with a Masters degree from Pratt Institute in the History of Art and Design. Originally
from Asheville, NC, with a background in art history and journalism she
focuses her writing on the history of photography. Since moving to New York in 2009 she has worked at the Asia Society,
Pace/MacGill Gallery and the International Center of Photography. Her Master's thesis, which explored a re-evaluation of the Farm Security
Administration’s exhibition program (1935-1943) is a theme she plans to
continue to explore in the future.
